4G proxies in the United Kingdom and Italy
Our second and third countries are live — EE, Vodafone UK, O2 and Three in the United Kingdom; TIM, Vodafone Italia, WindTre and Iliad in Italy. What we learned building outside France, and how to choose a carrier.
On this page
Eleven months after launching in France, dedicated 4G proxies are now available in two more countries: the United Kingdom and Italy. Both fleets run on every major national network, use the same credential format and API as the French fleet, and can be ordered from the dashboard today.
What is live
| Country | Carriers | Protocols | Rotation |
|---|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | EE, Vodafone UK, O2, Three | HTTP, SOCKS5 | Dashboard, API, rotation link |
| Italy | TIM, Vodafone Italia, WindTre, Iliad | HTTP, SOCKS5 | Dashboard, API, rotation link |
Each proxy is, as in France, one physical modem with one SIM, assigned to you alone for the length of your plan. Hostnames follow the country code: gb.mobile.gw.proxuno.com and it.mobile.gw.proxuno.com.
Country and carrier are now chosen directly in the order form. Until this release, customers who wanted a specific French carrier had to ask support; that step is gone.
Why these two countries
We picked the next markets from what customers actually asked for, weighted by how hard it is to run a reliable fleet there.
- The United Kingdom was the most requested country by a wide margin, driven by e-commerce price monitoring, search result tracking and social media work aimed at UK audiences.
- Italy came second, mostly from marketplace and classified-ad monitoring, and from agencies managing Italian social accounts.
Both have four national networks with mature 4G coverage, which matters: spreading a fleet across carriers is the simplest way to avoid depending on one network's incidents or one carrier's reputation with a given target.
What was different outside France
Building our first fleets abroad taught us more than we expected.
SIM supply and contracts
Every carrier has its own rules for data SIMs used in fixed equipment. Some prepaid offers are tied to identity checks that do not suit a business; some business plans throttle after a "fair use" volume far below what a proxy uses. We now run only on plans whose terms explicitly allow the traffic volumes we see, and we keep a written record of each carrier's fair-use clause.
Radio conditions
Racks sit in data centres, which are not designed for good mobile reception. In London we had to move one rack row and add external antennas to get stable signal on all four networks. Every modem now reports its signal quality to our monitoring, and a port whose signal degrades is taken out of the allocation pool before customers notice.
Rotation timing
Rotation speed varies by carrier. Across our tests, the median time from "rotate" to "new IP ready" is:
- EE and Vodafone UK: around 6–8 seconds
- O2 and Three: around 8–12 seconds
- TIM and Vodafone Italia: around 7–10 seconds
- WindTre and Iliad: around 9–14 seconds
These are medians, not guarantees; busy cells can add a few seconds. The 10-second minimum between two manual rotations of the same proxy applies everywhere and protects the modem from being cycled faster than the network can handle.
Choosing a carrier
There is no universally "best" network. A few patterns we see:
- If you target UK retail or search, EE and Vodafone UK give the broadest mix of addresses.
- Three shares parts of its infrastructure with other operators and tends to produce IP ranges that are less common in proxy pools — useful when a target has started to recognise others.
- In Italy, TIM is the incumbent with the largest subscriber base; Iliad is newer, growing fast and has comparatively "fresh" ranges.
- When in doubt, choose any and let us spread your order across carriers.
Using them alongside France
Nothing changes in how you integrate. Your existing API key lists every proxy across countries, rotation links work the same way, and IP-whitelist authentication applies account-wide.

What comes next
We will keep adding countries one at a time, only once a fleet has run internally for several weeks with spare modems on site. Germany and Spain are the next candidates. As always, the changelog lists every release, and the mobile proxies documentation covers ports, protocols and rotation for all countries.
