Bouygues Telecom on our network

Third historic operator, strong urban coverage

Bouygues Telecom entered the French market in 1996 as the third operator and has invested heavily in coverage in large cities. It has a sizeable consumer base on both postpaid and SIM-only plans.

Combined with Orange and SFR, it lets you reproduce the three most common French mobile profiles.

Network generation

Where 5G coverage is available, the Bouygues Telecom modem attaches to it; elsewhere it falls back to 4G on the same carrier without any change to your credentials. The address pool and CGNAT behaviour are the same on both: 5G changes throughput and latency, not how target sites classify the traffic.

Carrier-grade NAT

Mobile operators have far more subscribers than public IPv4 addresses, so they place handsets behind carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT): hundreds or thousands of devices share each public address. Proxies on Bouygues Telecom exit through the same CGNAT gateways as Bouygues Telecom's own subscribers, which is why target sites rarely block them — a block would hit their real customers too.

The flip side is that you do not own the address. Other Bouygues Telecom subscribers can appear behind the same IP at the same time, and the public address is assigned by Bouygues Telecom, not by us.

How rotation behaves

Rotating a mobile proxy reconnects the modem's data session, and Bouygues Telecom assigns a new address from its pool. Expect a few seconds of interruption while the session re-establishes; open connections are closed. We enforce 10 seconds between two manual rotations of the same proxy.

Because the carrier chooses the new address, you can occasionally receive one you have seen before, especially after many rotations in a short period. Rotation can be triggered from the dashboard, the API or the rotation link, or scheduled every 2 to 60 minutes.

Bouygues Telecom proxy FAQ

Are Bouygues Telecom proxies shared with other customers?

No. Each proxy is a dedicated modem with its own Bouygues Telecom SIM, used by you alone for the duration of the plan. The public IP sits behind Bouygues Telecom's CGNAT, so ordinary Bouygues Telecom subscribers may share it — that is what makes the traffic look like theirs.

Can I move an existing proxy from Bouygues Telecom to another carrier?

No. The carrier is tied to the modem's SIM. Order a proxy on the other carrier, or choose "any carrier" at checkout when the network does not matter for your use.

How long does a rotation take on Bouygues Telecom?

The modem reconnects and receives a new address from Bouygues Telecom, usually within a few seconds. Manual rotations are limited to one every 10 seconds per proxy; scheduled rotation runs every 2 to 60 minutes.

Is bandwidth limited on Bouygues Telecom proxies?

No. Mobile proxies have unlimited bandwidth and we apply no traffic cap. Throughput depends on Bouygues Telecom's radio conditions at the modem site.

How much does a proxy on Bouygues Telecom cost?

$9 for 24 hours, $39 for 7 days or $105 for 30 days per proxy — the same price for every carrier in France. 30-day plans get a volume discount from 5 proxies.
