## Targeting lives in the username

There are no separate endpoints per country: the gateway reads the target from the username you send.

### Country

Append -country-de for Germany, or -country-eu for a random European IP.

### City

Append -city-berlin after the country. 114 cities are available across the pool.

### Session

Append -session-<8 characters>-ttl-<minutes> to keep the same IP for 1 to 30 minutes.

Sessions

## Rotating or sticky

Both modes use the same gateway, credentials and traffic balance. Switch per request by changing the username.

Rotating (default)

Each new connection can exit through a different IP. Use it when every request stands on its own.

Sticky session

The same IP for 1 to 30 minutes. Use it for multi-step flows where a change of IP would reset the visit.

A residential peer can go offline before the session ends. The gateway then assigns a new IP to the same session ID, in the same country and city.

### What counts as traffic?

Bytes sent and received through the gateway, including headers and TLS overhead. 1 GB is 10⁹ bytes, the same unit as in the dashboard.

### Is a sticky IP guaranteed for the whole TTL?

As long as the residential peer stays online. If it disconnects, the gateway assigns a new IP to the same session ID in the same location.

### Can I target a carrier or ASN?

Not on the residential pool. For carrier-level targeting, use dedicated mobile proxies.

### What happens to unused traffic?

It expires 90 days after purchase. Within 7 days of purchase, unused GB can be converted to account balance.

### Can I use several countries with one package?

Yes. A package is a traffic balance, not a location. Each request can target a different country or city.

### Does residential traffic expire?
